The objective of this procedure is to describe the health, safety and environmental (HSE) aspects of working practices for surveys carried out by EGS.
This procedure is fundamentally different to other procedures. Other procedures describe ways of carrying out surveys to provide consistently high quality survey results to client companies or organizations. This procedure describes the management system in place to ensure the HSE aspects of carrying out surveys on site are considered systematically, to ensure the following:
- That the health of EGS staff and all members of the public (including members of client companies / organizations and staff of subcontractors) are not endangered by our surveys.
- Surveys are carried out safely, with the target of zero accidents causing damage to property or injury to personnels.
- That surveys are carried out with the target of causing minimal short and medium term effects on the environment and zero long term impact.
